Sometimes the best opportunities come when we say “yes” before we even know exactly how we’re going to make it happen. At my last vendor event, I had one of those moments.

My vendor neighbor noticed that I made stickers and asked if I could recreate his logo into transparent logo stickers. The twist? His three products all had different fonts, and he wanted them to be consistent.

I had never done something like that before—but instead of letting doubt get the best of me, I said yes. And I’m so glad I did.

👉 This wasn’t my first “say yes now, learn later” moment. Earlier this year, I shared a post called Do It Afraid: How I Created 500 Custom Business Cards for a Customer in 6 Days (As a Small Business Owner!)—and this new experience reminded me of that same lesson: growth happens when we step out of our comfort zone.

Learning to Trust Myself in the Transparent Logo Stickers Process

Confidence doesn’t always show up first—it often comes after action. I doubted my ability at first. Would I be able to match fonts? Could I design transparent logo stickers that looked professional? Did I even have the right materials?

Instead of saying no, I trusted that I could figure it out. I researched, prepared, and gave myself permission to try. And the truth is, once I started, it was easier than I thought it would be.

This experience reminded me that many times, the only thing standing in the way is my own self-doubt.

Why Saying Yes Opened the Door to Transparent Logo Stickers

If I had said no, I would have missed out on:

  • Learning a new skill (recreating logos with consistent fonts for transparent logo stickers)
  • Expanding the kinds of products I can now confidently offer
  • Building a stronger relationship with a fellow vendor
  • Proving to myself that I can do hard things

Sometimes growth happens because we step outside our comfort zone, even if it feels a little scary at first.

Building Confidence Through Action (and Transparent Logo Stickers)

Confidence doesn’t magically appear—it’s built one “yes” at a time. Every time I take on a new challenge—like creating transparent logo stickers for the first time—and follow through, I add another layer of trust in myself.

As the quote goes:

“You don’t have to be ready. You just have to start.”

And it’s true. I didn’t feel ready when I said yes to this project, but now I feel proud and more prepared for the next opportunity.

Conclusion: Transparent Logo Stickers Taught Me to Keep Saying Yes

This small moment—turning logos into transparent logo stickers—wasn’t just about materials and design. It was about trusting myself. I continue to learn that saying yes first and figuring it out later is often the best way to grow in business and in life.

And just like I wrote in Do It Afraid: How I Created 500 Custom Business Cards for a Customer in 6 Days (As a Small Business Owner!), these challenges are really opportunities in disguise. Each one builds courage, confidence, and new skills that I can carry forward.

So next time an opportunity comes your way, don’t let self-doubt stop you. Say yes—you might surprise yourself with just how capable you really are.
