Over the years, I have purchased a LOT of planners. However, they would sit unused in a drawer because they overwhelmed me with all the extra fluff that came with them. I just needed a planner that I could use to write my tasks for the day. Something I could keep on my desk and reference when needed throughout my workday.

This planner didn’t need much space. I needed to write the date, specify the day of the week, the most important things I needed to do that day, other tasks, appointments, and a place to jot down notes. I needed this planner to be a very simplified daily planner. So, I created my own.

I liked it so much that I got the bright idea to ask people on my Facebook profile if they would be willing to purchase it if I sold my design in a deskpad format. Lo and behold, people showed interest! I decided to order materials to make 10 pads, and if they did well, I would make more. Well, I now have 4 pre-orders already. I think I may have just started a new business.

The web designer in me decided I needed a website to showcase my current and future designs. Then I figured I would need a logo. I had a vision in my head, and I set out to create it. I knew I didn’t have time to sketch by hand, so I searched for a royalty-free clipart. Once I found what I was looking for, I headed over to Canva. In under 4 minutes, I had my logo.

As a person with undiagnosed ADHD, it is very important that I have a way to complete tasks in the simplest way possible. I know there are others like me who get overwhelmed when they are bombarded with too many unnecessary details and add-ons. When you want a straightforward, no-fluff way to do things, you need to keep things very simple.

This simplified daily planner has not only helped me manage my tasks more effectively but has also resonated with others who seek simplicity in their daily planning. If you’re like me and prefer a no-nonsense approach to task management, this simplified planner might be the perfect solution for you.
